Radio Shack To Sell $100 Mini Laptops December 16, 2008

It’s smaller than a regular laptop computer but still packs a punch and Radio Shack is selling them for $100 starting this week if you also tack on an AT&T wireless account.

 

Between now [[Dec. 14]] and Christmas, Radio Shack is selling a 2.44-pound laptop made by Acer called the “Aspire one.” The computer includes Microsoft’s Windows XP operating system, a sizeable hard drive, Wi-Fi wireless Internet connection, and a built-in Web cam for teleconferencing. The mobile Internet-enabled device is in a category of PCs often referred to as a “netbook” because they are primarily used for accessing Web sites and checking e-mail. Read more

is there any laptop out there 100 dollars that dosent have a wireless internet in it. or is it possible to get this laptop and you dont have to use the at&t wireless?
