I think this new so-called library is a criminal act against the tax payers of Castro Valley, $22.3 million for a library? I think when this place finally opens, the voting tax payers, will see just how much of a waste of there money, that was suppose to go toward a library that was spent on other things. If you intended this place to be a convention bureau with a library, that is how it should have been worded, on this huge bond issue we [ the tax payers]have to pay for . I think youll be able to get away with this type of deseption for some time until the voters wake up , and then you wont be able to pass anything. I just hope that your going to sell the old library and repay the tax payers.
And now mentioned above the new library that cost $22.3 million cannot even afford bicycle racks. Get ready for a continued raise in property tax , just to keep this thing running.
Today I received a letter for [DONATIONS] for this $22.3 million monstrosity, it seem the so-called library was built but seems they need donations for, for the inside , this is criminal they tell the tax payers how crowded the old library was and a new one is desperately need for $22.3 million , but need donations. This is a criminal act perpetrated on the tax payers and needs to be looked into. If they havent even opened there doors yet and need donations already, just how are they going to run this thing? I know how, WE NEED MORE MONEY. Robert
