It’s smaller than a regular laptop computer but still packs a punch and Radio Shack is selling them for $100 starting this week if you also tack on an AT&T wireless account.
Between now [[Dec. 14]] and Christmas, Radio Shack is selling a 2.44-pound laptop made by Acer called the “Aspire one.” The computer includes Microsoft’s Windows XP operating system, a sizeable hard drive, Wi-Fi wireless Internet connection, and a built-in Web cam for teleconferencing. The mobile Internet-enabled device is in a category of PCs often referred to as a “netbook” because they are primarily used for accessing Web sites and checking e-mail. … Read more

The day after Thanksgiving is referred to as “Black Friday” and it marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season. On Black Friday, popular products such as HDTVs, toys, electronics, and clothing are available at their lowest price of the year. Sales on laptop computers for under $400, digital cameras for $80, and Plasma HDTVs for $500 are all very common on Black Friday.
